People have always speculated if Storm lord was Zues or Posidien well Zues is god of Thunder and lightning as well as the lord of all gods! Posidien god of the sea, and earthquake bringer and brother of zues! well look at this image wht does it look like? Something coming from STORM lords hand hmmmmm water? NO,lightning! And look at the staff that ZUES is holding,hmmmmmm and on the top is well of course ZUES'S master lightning bolt! and if you think that is a trident look at the Celestian Trident in the crown shop and the Triton is holding a Trident as well.
